This game is a game where the player is constantly falling and unable to stop falling. They can move around with WASD in order to avoid the obstacles that spawn as they fall. If the player collides with an obstacle, they lose and the game restarts from the beginning, resetting the player's speed.


When playtesting, players had some difficulty with the increasing velocity of the player, which made it difficult to avoid obstacles. Players had to attempt to anticipate where an obstacle would spawn and continue moving instead of standing still in order to avoid them. Sometimes an obstacle would appear out of nowhere, surprising the player. I was making the game similar to an old Minecraft gamemode called dropper, which had players drop through premade maps. Both games have players unable to control their vertical movement, only their horizontal movement. However, in this game, the player drops indefinitely until they hit an obstacle and restart the game, so technically the player is falling forever.
